- Jackie Leven - Summer: Barefoot Days/Deep In The Heart of Nowhere (Cooking Vinyl)
Davies describes the two live recordings (Black Horse, Otley; The Greys, Brighton) as dominated by Leven's between-song announcements – on Barefoot Days there is room for only six songs, but there are anecdotes, for example about an encounter with Joni Mitchell.
- Jackie Leven – Barefoot Days / Deep In The Heart Of Nowhere
Three out of five stars. Oliver praises the new studio title song “Barefoot Days” and calls Leven a criminally overlooked songwriter; Deep in the Heart of Nowhere reproduces a typical Leven concert more completely, but flows less convincingly.
