In the press
- Album review Doll By Doll: Remember (Automatic K 56618)
Trade-oriented short review of the debut (producers: Bill Price and the band): a disappointing album that stands out precisely for its lack of originality – nothing that hasn't been done before.
- Gypsies' Brood – Doll By Doll: 'Gypsy Blood' (Automatic K 56755)
Contemporary review of the second album by Chris Westwood, which at the same time defends the debut: “Remember” was slated by form-obsessed critics although it was a very powerful record of disturbing honesty.
- Doll By Doll – Gypsy Blood
Enthusiastic fan retrospective on the second Doll by Doll album (1979). Furgess recalls a strange Melody Maker interview from 1979 in which Leven admitted heavy LSD use in the band and claimed to hear voices and communicate with the dead – the reason he bought Remember.
