He wrote nothing about this time.

Jackie Leven died on 14 November 2011 in Hampshire, aged 61. His last blog entry ends with the full text of his song “Working Alone”, an image of ploughing, of time passing and of someone else taking over the reins. For what would have been his 70th birthday, a fan had a memorial bench put up in Soho Square; it carries the last line of “Main Travelled Roads”.
