Lisson Grove

Jason was better at this than i was, but there again, i had lived in these buildings before they became Core, and was actually part of the source of psychic infection, so part of me just wanted to sleep and continue the distress.

Jackie Leven, The Deep Pool, December 2003

After his own withdrawal Leven co-founded a centre for people with addictions in Lisson Grove and became its head counsellor, with no formal training, in buildings where he had once lived himself. The quotation comes from his account of a winter solstice night he sat through with Jason Wright to exorcise the place.
