Jackie Leven | Jackie Leven Said – Tegen een gedateerd Sky Radio-geluid aan.

Review of the double CD with Ian Rankin: CD 1 contains Rankin's reading of the story about a family at a funeral, interrupted by Leven's music; CD 2 new songs, “I Say a Little Prayer” and older material. The live half with acoustic guitar and keyboard is praised as pleasant and the Crossing Border-like concept as refreshing, while the studio recordings are panned as smooth, boring and overproduced. Overall tone: mixed to negative.
