Leven på Siste Reis

Preview of the concert at the pub Siste Reis in Halden on Sunday, 25.09.2005. The promoter is Tom Skjeklesæther of Halden, who ran the rock club Ratz in Oslo in the early 1980s: Doll by Doll was the first band to play there. Biographical outline (Roma family, Irish father, northern English mother, youth in Scotland, London/Berlin/Madrid, attack, addiction, since 1985 CORE, support from Princess Diana and Eric Clapton, “fifteen solo albums”). Skjeklesæther places Leven between Van Morrison and Mike Scott (Waterboys) and stresses that he prefers to play in small, intimate venues.
