Review of the double CD with Ian Rankin (recording from the Queen's Hall, Edinburgh, August 2004, plus three new songs and older material). Verzeletti explains how it came about (Leven found his name in a Rankin text, both come from Fife), finds the reading on CD hard going for non-native speakers and the live songs too long; the three new songs, written from Rebus's point of view, above all “Linseed Oil” about the smell of linseed oil in Kirkcaldy, are the best part. Overall tone: more for fans.

Summary in our own words; for the exact wording see the original.

trasportata su cd, la serata perde molto della sua efficacia
