Jackie Leven, Richard Thompson – 23.02.2003 – Köln, Gloria

Report from the Cologne evening of the short tour with Midnight Choir and Richard Thompson, on which the three acts alternated the running order; Leven closed the evening with Michael Cosgrave on keyboards. Among other things he told the stories from the Haig whisky distillery and of the London policemen behind “My Philosophy”, and stretched the songs with Cosgrave to over ten minutes in places. Overall tone: very positive, the three acts complemented each other “almost magically”.
