Ekte vare fra skotske Leven

Mixed-to-positive review of the two-hour solo concert at Sumaloftet, Finnsnes, on Friday (11.04.1997) before a good hundred listeners; Leven opened with a coarse joke. Honesty and humility carried the in itself “stillborn” concept of man-with-guitar; the songs were simply built, the sound not very varied until it improved towards the end. The critic would have liked accordion, fiddle, flute or harmonica; verdict: a pleasant acquaintance.
