June 18: The Late great Jackie Leven would have been 66 today

The Norwegian operator of the English-language music blog (otherwise mainly about Bob Dylan) recalls a concert about a year before Leven's death: after the show Leven could not pronounce his first name, asked what it meant and signed a CD for him “To my big viking friend”. He calls Leven a masterly storyteller in and between songs. There follows an annotated selection of YouTube videos (“Empty in Soho Square” with a 2004 interview, medley “Ancient Misty Morning” Tramway Glasgow 1995, “Kings Of Infinite Space” 23.07.2010, “Poortoun” 25.07.1999, “Single Father” 20.09.2000) and a Wikipedia paragraph.
