Michael Weston King, Alan Cook – 09.12.2011 – Köln, Hauskonzert

Report from a house concert by Michael Weston King in Cologne on 09.12.2011, which was largely devoted to the memory of Leven, who had died a few weeks earlier. King recalled their collaboration (production of “A Decent Man” in 2003, Leven's pointer to Langston Hughes for King's protest-song album, joint appearances up to Leven's last concerts in August 2011) and sang Ronnie Lane's “She's Leaving” as “He's Leaving”; lines from it were said to have been read at Leven's funeral. No Leven song in the programme.
