16 reader comments from 15.11. to 01.12.2011 beneath the label's obituary, in English and one in German. Fans from Great Britain, Austria, Germany and Norway mourn and remember: a Viennese learned of the death through Michael Cosgrave's Facebook entry and mentions a cancelled Vienna concert in September 2011; a man from Birmingham describes how, after a Doll by Doll concert in London, Leven gave a friend the lyric sheet he had just sung from; Mike Plumbley (author of the 1997 Winchester concert review) recalls a CORE benefit concert to which he came because of Townes Van Zandt and where Leven played “Men In Prison”, whereupon hard men wept; the Hanover radio presenter Uli Kniep thanks him for many encounters since The Mystery Of Love; Jan Myrvold (Norway) promises to pass the legacy on to younger generations; others recall Doll by Doll in north London and in York in 1979, a cancelled Dingwalls concert, a raffle at the 12 Bar Club, Leven's tattered “lucky shirt” and cancelled concerts in 2011 (York, Vienna). A German comment (Leo Lambrecht) mentions performances at the “Lab” in Stuttgart.
