Short death report (15.11.2011, 19.32): the “friend of Bergen” Leven died on Monday evening aged 61 after a long illness with cancer. It recalls many visits to Bergen, including at Bergenfest, and the 2003 concert for the inmates of Bergen Landsfengsel; the archive photo shows him at Bergenfest 2005. An older Leven quotation about his love for Bergen, its surroundings and its women, and the similarity to the Scottish atmosphere, closes the text.
