Tributes to Scottish singer songwriter Jackie Leven

Short online report from the BBC regional newsroom: Leven died aged 61 after an illness with cancer. It mainly documents Twitter reactions from Ian Rankin, BBC Radio Scotland presenter Tom Morton (whisky “Leven's Lament”), Eddi Reader and Cooking Vinyl, and quotes at length the tribute that stood on Leven's official website shortly before his death (over 400 songs, “Call Mother” as his greatest song). Doll by Doll is – inaccurately – described as a punk band; the addiction charity is said to have been founded by Leven “with his wife”.
