Winter: Men In Prison & Munich Blues

Kris Needs (who had followed Doll by Doll for ZigZag as early as 1978) calls Leven “the UK's mightiest troubadour” and welcomes the reissue of the Haunted Valley live albums. He praises the recording from the men's prison in Bergen (“The Garden”) and Munich Blues with Michael Cosgrave and Debbie Greenwood; the booklet with Leven's “Deep Pool” texts is worthy of a book. Very positive; rating not shown on the website.
