Retrospective by Kris Needs, who as editor of ZigZag had championed Doll by Doll in the late seventies. The text is marked as a 2007 piece ("tMx 29 – 04/07") and was republished on the blog Exile on Moan Street on 25 May 2021. Needs recalls that the debut Remember got miserable reviews on the whole and did not sell. So a music journalist of the time, not only Leven himself, confirms that the debut was mostly received badly by the critics. The retrospective should not be confused with Needs's ZigZag article of the same title from March 1979.
