Short review: not a revolutionarily new but a typically classic Leven album with Johnny Dowd as a partner, a homage to Kevin Coyne, more blues in the guitar playing, poems by Kenneth Patchen and “I've Been Everywhere” as a comic list of his usual tour stops. Theme: drinking. Overall tone: benevolent.
