Cover interview during Rankin's visit to Iceland. Asked about his punk band Dancing Pigs, Rankin says his rock-star dream had come true only recently: Leven had found himself mentioned in a Rebus novel, made contact via the publisher; the joint concerts (Rankin reads a long short story, Leven sings matching songs) were so successful that a double CD resulted. Since then he has found himself in record shops such as Virgin or HMV on the shelf next to R.E.M.
