Preview with an interview on Leven's concert at Stavanger's Checkpoint Charlie (the Thursday after publication, so probably 20.10.2005). The 55-year-old has been very active for ten or eleven years after a long break. Stavanger reminds him of small Scottish towns, and he plans to use the day off after the concert to explore.

At the centre is Elegy for Johnny Cash (2005). Leven says the album came about in Beirut: at a music event he met old friends again and got to know Lebanese musicians; rather than bringing them to Scotland, he travelled to Lebanon with the producer. The title came only during the recording. He did not like Cash as a young man; he discovered him only about two years earlier, when he heard “Hurt” on the radio in a hotel in Kabelvåg and fell in love. At the concert he intends to play old, new and unreleased pieces; he thinks his music appeals to all age groups, likes to talk to the audience after concerts and treats pushy fans politely but firmly. The article closes with an overview of the concert week in Stavanger (Zoom finale, Brian McFadden, Dungen and others).

Summary in our own words; for the exact wording see the original.

Jeg liker veldig godt Stavanger.
