Jackie Leven – Elegy For Johnny Cash

Positive review: like many people, Leven came to Cash only through the “American Recordings”; two songs are dedicated directly to Cash (the title track as an imagined last vocal recording by Cash, “The Law of Tide” sung by Robert Fisher). Praised are “Blue Soul Dark Road”, “No Honour In This Love”, “Vibration White Finger” and “King of the Barley” about the lonely drinkers at the bar.
