Unofficial Jackie Leven guestbook (jackieleven.com / home.xnet.it/tout), 2004 to January 2005

Around 50 entries up to early 2005. One fan was at the evening with Ian Rankin in January 2004 and once saw Doll by Doll as the support act for John Otway and Hawkwind. The AllMusic critic Thom Jurek asks in January for review copies, as Leven's records are hardly available in the USA. In March 2004, in response to an appeal from Leven, around ten fans apply to be merchandise sellers for the German tour. Concert greetings come from Brighton (The Greys, with David Thomas), Botley, Kiel (together with Tony Joe White, 24.03.), Munich, Cologne, Berlin, Frankfurt, Dresden, Essen (with Michael Weston King), Moers (festival with David Thomas), Leicester (with Dan Britton) and Glastonbury (with Michael Weston King's band). On 04.04.2004 Robin Spreafico, a former Doll by Doll member, gets in touch from Indonesia and asks how he can reach Leven. One fan points out the reissue of For Peace Comes Dropping Slow, another complains that the news page has not been updated for a year. There are birthday wishes on 18.06. (a “midsummer party” is mentioned). The last recorded entry (13.01.2005) asks about the dates of the tour with The Earlies and a concert at the Morden Tower, Newcastle.
