Jackie Leven | For Peace Comes Dropping Slow – Voor laat in de avond.

Enthusiastic review of the regular reissue of the live album from London's Twelve Bar Club, which in 1996 had appeared only in a small edition for fan club members. Praised are the setlist, the cover versions (“Slim Slow Slider”, “Pale Blue Eyes” – in the booklet “Pale Blues Eyes”) and the three narrative pieces between the songs (“Acid Roast Beef”, “Whisky Story”, “Jackie Losing It”). Reference to Leven's Crossing Border appearance shortly beforehand. Overall tone: very positive, “superieure live-plaat”.
