Thread: Jackie Leven (Topic 3, album ratings)

Long rating thread (83 posts, 2004–2020, six pages) in which forum users rate Leven albums with stars. Consensus: “The Mystery of Love” and “Forbidden Songs of the Dying West” are regarded as masterpieces (up to five stars, places in personal top-500 lists); “Fairy Tales for Hard Men” falls slightly short for many, while later albums such as “Defending Ancient Springs” and “Shining Brother Shining Sister” are defended by individuals. One user reports that in 1995, on holiday in Oban, he narrowly missed a Leven concert. In November 2011 there are condolences; one user had wanted to go to the (cancelled) Münster concert, another points to a DLF feature, “Ein großer Unbekannter”, on 19.11.2011.
