Kulthelt for sin hatt

Preview of UbuDoll's Oslo appearance on 24.11.2000, at its core a conversation with David Thomas. Both were cult bands on either side of the Atlantic 20 years ago; now there are two exclusive concerts in Norway. Thomas does not remember exactly how the collaboration began; he brought Leven in for Mirror Man, Leven brought him in for Defending Ancient Springs. Both come from dark, cold places – hence Norway. The concerts consist of each taking part in the other's songs; there are no new joint songs or pieces by the old bands, and a record is unlikely because so much of it is talking on stage.
