Leven for døve ører

A panning of the audience, not of the artist: at the second Kabelvåg concert (Præstengbrygga, Saturday 14.03.1998) the great majority had come to talk. Leven tried to drown out the chatterers, grew irritated and asked them to shut up, whereupon the audience responded with an even more annoying chorus of shushing. Leven got his job done with voice and guitar, but the joy and fire disappeared, and the stories that had spiced the “excellent” concert of April 1997 were missing entirely. For the reviewer the evening was “totally ruined”; he hopes Leven will not skip Kabelvåg next time.
