Positive review: big boys who cry, mothers who took their own lives, but also blessed moments – the songs are about personal growth, the basic mood is not depressing but heart-warming, soothing, almost spiritual. “Men in Prison” is singled out, over 60 sacred male voices; three of the 16 tracks are recitations of poems by Emily Dickinson, James Wright and Louis MacNeice. Leven draws on Celtic tunes, spaghetti westerns and rock; with country, jazz and oldies rock he goes a little limp, but overall a fine successor.

Summary in our own words; for the exact wording see the original.

hjertegod, lindrende, nærmest spirituell

on the basic mood.
