Short review: the former Doll by Doll singer presents a successor to the previous year's “pearl”; for the uninitiated Leven is a cross between Bryan Ferry and Van Morrison and proves once again what a good singer he is. Most of the material is self-written, and again poems (James Wright, Emily Dickinson) are set to music. Benevolent.
