Belated review of the solo debut in the Bodø newspaper: in the early 80s Leven led Doll by Doll, a critically praised but commercially unsuccessful soul-rock band; Mike Scott as helper shows the direction. Expansive, powerful sound, thoughtful lyrics, pop, rock and folk combined, Leven's voice carrying the melodies – one of the records of ’94 that should not be overlooked.
