Unsigned death notice on Leven's official website: death on Monday, 14 November (2011), at 8 pm, after an illness with cancer; with Leven's quotation about “soulful story tellers”, the reference to jackie-leven.com and a biography paragraph (over 400 songs, “Call Mother A Lonely Field” counted by Q among the best, humour, storytelling, most recently Wayside Shrines with Michael Cosgrave). Below it, the PayPal order buttons for One Long Cold Morning and Leven's quotation on the “Code of the Travelling Man” were left in place.
