Jackie Leven - The Haunted Year/Winter (Cooking Vinyl)

Introduction to the Haunted Year series, with which Leven makes the eight limited fan-club albums regularly available after the end of the Haunted Valley magazine. Munich Blues (Café Muffathalle, Munich, with Michael Cosgrave and Deborah Greenwood) comes across as playful, Men in Prison (men's prison in Bergen) as more intense, opening with Leven's account of his own past with violence and drugs. Benevolent and informative, no rating.
