Jackie Leven & Ian Rankin – Jackie Leven Said

Review of the double CD on which Ian Rankin reads his short story “Jackie Leven Said” and Leven, with Michael Cosgrave, illustrates it musically, supplemented by jointly chosen songs (including Bacharach's “Say A Little Prayer”). Verdict: only for “hardcore fans”. Maurer reports that James Yorkston told him Leven had already phoned him as a fellow Fifer.
