Jackie Leven live | Rockpalast | 2004 Crossroads-Festival März 2004, Harmonie Bonn

Television recording by WDR at the Rockpalast festival “Crossroads” at the Bonn Harmonie (23–26 March 2004); Leven played on the last evening, 26 March 2004, with Kevin Foster (bass) and Michael Cosgrave (keyboards, vocals). The WDR page lists the setlist A Little Voice in Space, Classic Northern Diversions, Live or Die, Poortoun, My Philosophy, Call Mother a Lonely Field, Empty in Soho Square, Exit Wound and introduces Leven with a press text (“perhaps the greatest Scottish singer/songwriter”, a Stereoplay quotation). In 2018 the Rockpalast channel published a 44-minute version with four songs and three short interview segments (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pcJw_Zjf94); in 2024 MIG Music put the whole concert (around 75 minutes, with narrative passages such as “Jackie Talks About Kiel And His Mother” and “… Norwegian Prisoners”) online (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4VYTXQUQFI). The material was released as the DVD “Live at Rockpalast” (2011) and as the CD+DVD “Live at Rockpalast 2004” (2024).
