Positive short review: Leven always has the critics on his side because he is a tradition-bearer; Creatures is atmospheric, tradition-inspired music that demands listening and then gives a lot back. He is a good storyteller, everything written with heart, performed simply and with feeling. Melodically he has been stronger; the album grows but hardly reaches Fairy Tales for Hard Men.
