Positive review: the “boss of the legendary Doll by Doll” has again delivered a solid album; in phrasing and approach he recalls Van Morrison, but loves dramatic effects (slamming doors, trickling rain, cheering). He values big words and visions; “Rainy Day Bergen Women” is more familiar to Norwegians than the Jesus title. Its strength is atmosphere and closeness to the music, which demands active listening – music for life, to which one returns in the autumn dark.

Summary in our own words; for the exact wording see the original.
