Leven has by now become a “friend of Norway” with a fabulous voice and a love of storytelling, somewhere between Celtic music, rock and folk. The album offers quiet, melodic songs between American rock à la John Hiatt and Scottish heritage, garnished with sound backdrops from experimental music. The reviewer found the cover “You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'” and the sentimental “Single Father” less successful; the gems were “Paris Blues”, “Keys to the Forest” and “Morbid Sky”.
