Positive review of the solo concert at Den Stundesløse (01.03.2000): Leven had a stage authority that surpassed most singer-songwriters – with a “God-given” voice, acoustic guitar, a foot that kept time (microphone at foot level) and a loose tongue. The mostly autobiographical stories between the songs set him apart from others; humour always lay beneath the bittersweet episodes. A joke about Norwegians who always phone when you are sitting on the toilet – “that's surely Frank Nes (of Ole Blues)” – had the room laughing. A band was hardly missed.

Summary in our own words; for the exact wording see the original.
