Music page with a review and biographical boxes. The review is predominantly positive (folk music masterfully interwoven with poetic lyrics, calm sound), but criticises two pieces: “Keys to the Forest” is too heavy-hearted, the opening cover “You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'” simply ugly. Tips for a first listen: “Paris Blues”, “The Working Man's Lovesong”, “Defending Ancient Springs”. The boxes tell the biography (left Scotland at 18, Control as John St. Field, “only released in Spain?”, five records with Doll by Doll, “one never released”, attack, heroin, CORE Trust, friendship with Robert Bly, readings by Bly and Mike Scott on The Mystery of Love). Announcement: Sunday, 5 March, at Café Sting in Stavanger.
