Short review with a punchline: one should learn to skip track 1 by programming, because the opening version of “You've Lost That Loving Feeling” (with David Thomas) is bland. The rest of the album shows Leven at his best, vocally and as a songwriter; “The Working Man's Love Song”, “Single Father” and “Your Winter Days” are singled out. Tone: positive with a clear reservation.
Summary in our own words; for the exact wording see the original.
