Leven stays true to himself on the new album: emotionally charged songs about men, women and the great loneliness afterwards, opened by Phil Spector's “You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'”. Featured are David Thomas (Pere Ubu) on accordion and a band with former members of James, The Christians and Lighthouse Family. The strongest piece is perhaps the closing “Morbid Sky”, in fact a performance by David Thomas's Pale Orchestra with Leven in the line-up. Tone: very beautiful songs, but not different enough from the two “almost formidable” predecessors. Notice of the Oslo concert on 28 February and a subsequent Norwegian tour.
Summary in our own words; for the exact wording see the original.
God grunn til å heve glasset for Jackie Leven en gang til.
