Liljedugg – Leven «Night lillies» (Cooking Vinyl)

Positive review: Leven, former singer of the “semi-legendary” Doll by Doll and ex-junkie, has fought his way back after “the biggest helping of bad luck in history”; Fairy Tales brought him deserved success. Night Lilies is more conventional, but still “Caledonian Soul” from the same source as Van Morrison once drew on: pure as silver, fresh as morning dew, eleven carefully chiselled songs full of wisdom and hope, for anyone who has lost faith or wants to hear beautiful music.
