Double page by the Fremtiden music journalist Johnny Andreassen, who had already conducted the interview with Leven in 1995. Leven is back in Norway; last time only Fremtiden readers got to know him better, this time he visited all the big cities and appeared on the NRK1 Friday programme from Tromsø. Andreassen repeats Leven's earlier statement that he learned to speak and sing again with the Alexander Technique and that his voice is now better and stronger than ever.

Under the subheading “En kveld i magiens tegn” he describes the concert at the venue Rebekka West, Oslo: a good-humoured Leven alone with a guitar, a stomp board on which he beats time with his foot, and his voice; plus hours full of funny stories and songs of the last two or three years. One of them, told by Leven on stage: in a London restaurant he saw the football manager Terry Venables at the other end of the room; a note he wrote and an Indian waiter who did not understand English led to an angry Venables – a punchline story that Leven evidently used as a stage number.

The profile section sums up Doll by Doll (late 1970s on London club stages, white soul, Celtic and rock elements, in 1978 the hottest thing on the scene), the attack in 1982 after a studio session (three years without a voice, depression, heroin) and The Core Trust; the latter treats addictions of all kinds (alcohol, drugs, sex, money) with acupuncture and healing, and even the Queen has visited the centre. Leven released three albums in one year and announces more; his bond with Norway has grown stronger (subheading “Bånd til Norge”).

Summary in our own words; for the exact wording see the original.

Jeg rekker høyere og synger sterkere enn noengang

Leven (self-statement, quoted from the 1995 conversation).
