Reserved short review in the “Speilet” column: Forbidden Songs of the Dying West (Amigo) is a collection of atmospheric, slightly pompous songs, a three-part “concept album” with Ireland as its starting point. Leven has a soft, warm voice and there is a lot of good music, but some songs remain mere parentheses – on the whole fairly uneven.
Summary in our own words; for the exact wording see the original.
