Bra med Leven

Positive review of the solo concert at Garage on Thursday (27.04.1995): Leven can hold an audience alone with an acoustic guitar, you want to tie him down so he keeps playing; despite a break of almost twelve years he keeps up a high standard, and the voice makes the attack hard to believe. Praise goes to his guitar playing (amplified by the sound engineer with a lot of reverb), the chat between songs with coarse stories from the drug years that audience and Leven laughed about, and, as the first encore, Van Morrison's “Slim Slow Slider”.
