The fan documentation of John Peel's shows, reconstructed from tapes, lists the Doll by Doll single “The Palace Of Love” (Automatic K17330) for 28 February 1979, played between Alan Libert's Parabola and the Glaxo Babies. The same excerpt appears on the fan tape “PM142”. No Peel session by Doll by Doll is listed.
The entry shows that Peel played the band at least occasionally, which counters a common claim that he positively hated them.
